The composer闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘 inventiveness and musicality are apparent in this late Baroque Gavot, which is a fine choice for processionals.Composer, Organist, and ecclesiastical arranger Wlliam Boyce was one of the leading musicians of his day. He completed the great tome Cathedral Music following the death of the editor which is still in use in Anglican services. He was widely celebrated for his odes, anthems, masques, incidental music and in particular his eight symphonies, from which this short dance is drawn. His work is enjoying a new appreciation.
