Hans Werner Henze闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘 Ouverture zu einem Theater was commissioned by the Deutsche Oper Berlin, with funding from the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung. The world premiere took place on 20 October 2012 at the gala anniversary concert 闂100 years of the Deutsche Oper Berlin闂, at Deutsche Oper Berlin with Orchester der Deutschen Oper Berlin conducted by Donald Runnicles.
