Judith Weir: St. Agnes

This short blues commemorates the demolition of St. Agnes Place in Lambeth, South London on 29th November 2005. It was written for Douglas Paterson (viola) and Jane Salmon (cello), who gave the first performance at the Purcell Room, London, on 29th March 2006.
