Caroline van der Leeuw is a Dutch singer, who studied jazz singing at university. Van der Leeuw acquired her stage name Caro Emerald for the single "Back It Up". In 2010 her album "Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor" came out, inspired by movies and music from the 40s and 50s, it sounds like it was recorded in 1951 at Hollywood's famed studios. The album remained at number one for 30 consecutive weeks. In 2009 it was announced that Martini , the song from the album A Night Like This , had been chosen for a new advertising campaign. In 2010 the single That Man was released. The 4th single from the album is Stuck , released on 15 October 2010, which rose rapidly in the top 100 of the singles charts.
