Franz Joseph Haydn: Violin Concerto In G (With Piano Reduction)
Violin Concerto In G major is considered to be the earliest of Joseph Haydn 闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘 Violin concertos and was apparently written before he was taken into the service of the Esterh闁荤姴缁♀偓y family. It was first published a century after the Austrian composer闂備胶鍋ㄩ崕鏌ユ偘 death, in 1909, and was little known before. The concerto is lovely and ingratiating to the ear, consisting of 3 movements ( Allegro moderato , Adagio and Allegro ) with a total performance time of under 20 minutes. The unmatched intimacy and loveliness of the uniquely beautiful Adagio and the high spirited final movement with its charming Bagpipe imitation will put players and audiences alike in the best of moods from the outset. This Urtext edition provides you with a clear and accurate representation of the composer's original intentions. The Orchestra part is reduced to a Piano accompaniment and two copies of the Violin score, which is identical to that of the Haydn-Gesamtausgabe, are enclosed as separate inserts. A preface in German, English and French by editor G闂佹眹鈧er Thomas is included as well.
